ERP Finland was founded in 2005 to implement the European Union’s regulations on the recycling of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE Directive) in Finland.
ERP is the only approved pan-European organization that is trusted by over 2,300 members across Europe and the first in the market offering compliance for WEEE and batteries in over 40 countries.
ERP Finland is the only pan-European compliance scheme in Finland. To date, we have 34 members, including Oy Dell Ab, Oy Electrolux Ab, Gigantti Oy Ab, Hong Kong Import Oy, Hewlett-Packard Oy, Oy Husqvarna Ab, Dometic Finland Oy, Sony Nordic a/s (Sony Finland), Procter & Gamble Finland Oy, Microsoft, Verkkokauppa.com, Garmin and TomTom among others.
Through ERP Finland, a producer may acquire compliance for WEEE and batteries. ERP also offers Packaging services for WEEE and batteries members. ERP Finland can also act as an authorised representative for distant sellers.

As well as consolidating our presence throughout Europe, ERP is currently working to expand its expertise into new territories, such as Turkey and Israel, and looking to develop new recycling services (such as consumables).
Braun, Electrolux, HP and Sony founded European Recycling Platform in December 2002 to implement the European Union’s WEEE Directive.
